Launched in February 2014, Zaheer
by Jubahsouq was the first label which provides contemporary modest clothing
that met the aesthetics and cultural needs of the new generations of Muslims in
Asians. ‘Zaheer’ is an Arabic word, which means bright and shining. The
collection was named as a symbolic means of aesthetics values that is certainly
brightly reflected in the design of this collection. Each design is unique, one
kind of ‘thobe’ (jubah for men) which is based on the inspiration of the
mixture between Emirate’s and Malay’s culture.
Expertly crafted to be practical,
the Zaheer by Jubahsouq can be worn at almost any occasions, from morning to
evening, from home to work. Tailored with the finest and eco-savvy fabric, such
as fabric Cotton, it is incredibly smooth and lightweight and comfortable to
wear in hotter weather. The silhouette of the design is very loose from
shoulder downwards, this ‘thobe’ including pockets on both sides, buttoned
cuffs to make wudu’ easier, mandarin collar with buttoned down for opening and a
modern pleats detailing particularly around the neck area. Come out with
various colours to choose such as Army Green, Brown Leather, Off White, Super
Black, Slate Grey and Navy Blue; this colour scheme is very masculine and suits
the Asians palettes.
The collection caters for each
individual and the ethos is to provide something for each personality and
keeping modesty yet comfortable as the main aim.
